Golden Anniversary For Hurla Couple
Bernard and Laverne Hurla, Paxico, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a reception from 3 to 5 p.m. Saturday, July 24,1993, at the Knights of Columbus Hall, Newbury, Paxico.

Laverne Glotzbach and Bernard Hurla were married July 26,1943, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Newbury.

The reception will be hosted by their children, Charlie and Diane Gros, Myron and Cathy Hurla, Refugio and Gertrude Garcia, Wayne and Theresa Johnson, Roy and Vicky Hurla, Vincent Hurla, Martin and Anita Hurla, all of Paxico; David and Barbara Prue, Rick and Annette Mulanax, Danny and Angela Lloyd, all of Wamego; Lucille Moore, Richard and Catherine Prue, Isreal and Ruth Feliciano, all of Topeka; and Bernadette Wahl, Blue Springs, Mo. The couple has 57 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Friends and relatives are invited to attend and help the couple and their family celebrate the Golden Anniversary. The couple requests no gifts.
