Obituary- Cooper, Lester 2
Lester Cooper
HOLTON - Lester Cooper, 85, HolŽton, died Friday at a Topeka hospital where he had been a week.
He was born Oct. 10, 1894, at Guthrie, Okla., the son of Anson G. and Nevada Ann McDaniel Cooper.
Mr. Cooper was a farmer and stockŽman in the Denison [Delia] community. He reŽtired and moved to Holton 14 years ago.
He was chairman of the Agricultural Stabilization Conservation Service in Jackson County for many years.
He married Pearl Jacobson Dec. 4, 1926, in Lyndon. She survives.
Other survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Juanita Fansher, Roselle, Ill.; two sisters, Mrs. Ora Martin, Raymond, Wash., and Mrs. Nellie Mather, Kansas City, Kan.; and two grandchildren.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Mercer Funeral Home, Holton. BuriŽal will be in Holton Cemetery. MemoŽrial contributions may be made to the Heart Monitor Fund in care of Holton Hospital, Holton, 66436.
