Anniversary- Kirkpatrick, Bertie and Dorcas

Mr. and Mrs. Kirkpatrick
Friends and acquaintances of Mr. and Mrs. B. R. Kirkpatrick, Wamego, are invited to help celebrate the couple’s 50th wedding anniversary Sunday, Aug. 3.

Mr. and Mrs. Kirkpatrick’s children — Mrs. Lowell Sellers, Avon Lake, Ohio; William Kirkpatrick, Kansas City, Mo.; Mrs. Loren Hladky and Charles Kirkpatrick — will honor their parents with a reception at the United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall from 2:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. in Wamego.

Bertie Ray Kirkpatrick and Dorcas Elsie Wines were married Aug. 4, 1919, in Russell. In 1928 they moved to Wamego and purchased the new and used furniture store which they have owned and operated since that time.

The couple also has five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
