and Phyllis Moore

L.V. “Blackie” and Phyllis Moore will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a reception from 3 to 4:30 p.m. Nov. 26 at the Centennial Building in St. Marys.

The couple also will be honored with a family dinner prior to the reception.

Hosts will be their sons and their families, Steve Moore, Corpus Christi, Texas; Dana Moore and Jerry Moore, Glendale, Ariz.; and Rick Moore, Topeka. They have 10 grandchildren.

Lloyd Vincent Moore of Delia and Phyllis Irene Nickeson of Beatrice, Neb., were married Nov. 26, 1945, in Marysville.

They lived in Topeka for most of their married lives. Mr. Moore is a resident at St. Marys Manor in St. Marys.
