Auty and Luella Sage
Mr. and Mrs. Austin Sage, Willard, will be honored for their 50th wedding anniversary with a reception from 2 to 4 p.m. Feb. 16 at Rossville Community Center, Rossville.

Hosts will be their children, Arletta Nichols, Rossville, and Melvin Sage, Willard. Also hosting will be Yvonne Church, Delia; Yolande Bennett, Topeka, and Yvette Matyak, Wakarusa.

Austin “Auty” Sage and Luella Olson were married Feb. 11, 1942, in Topeka. Mr. Sage retired as head groundskeeper for Washburn University and Mrs. Sage is a retired canteen cook for the Veterans Administration hospital. They have five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
