Bob and Margaret Sumner, St. Marys, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Friday with a reception in their honor at the Rossville American Legion.

Hosts were their children, Dennis and Kathy Sumner, St. Marys; Vern and Janet Sumner and Nancy Fiedler, all of Rossville, and their eight grandchildren.

Robert Sumner and Margaret Moore were married June 7, 1947.

Mr. Sumner retired after 30 years of service with Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. Mrs. Sumner retired after 23 years of service with St. Marys Unified School District 321.
