Helen and “Shorty ” Thompson
Thompsons Celebrate 60th Anniversary
Samuel “Shorty” and Helen Davis Thompson will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary with their family. Sam and Helen were married in Topeka March 4, 1945.

Their children and spouses are Stan and Suzy Thompson, Rossville; and Steve and Paula Thompson, Ingalls. Their four grandchildren are Wesley, Krystle, Michael, and Abby.

Sam retired from Beatrice Foods in 1980 after 30 years of service. Helen retired as secretary from Rossville High School after 20 years.

Sam and Helen’s family will host a card shower in honor of the couple’s 60lh wedding anniversary. Cards may be sent to: Sam and Helen Thompson, 114 Marion, Rossville, KS, 66533.
