Arlene Fredricks Arlene Odessa Coney Fredricks died May 29th surrounded by family at Vista, CA. She j was the youngest of 6 born Sept 6, 1925 in Sioux City, IA to Arta Odessa Norton Coney and Robert William Coney. She is survived by her childhood sweetheart and husband of 72 years, Jack Fredricks (Rev. John R,) children Susan Arlene Fredricks Thayer (Jim) and J. Richard Fredricks, Jr., 3 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Arlene had been active in Woman's Club of Topeka, Salvation Army Auxiliary, PEO, Interfaith, and co-founded the Valencia Gals neighborhood group. She worked at the VA, Indochinese refugee center in the late 70s, and state law enforcement. She loved life and people and especially enjoyed team work. She firmly believed that our souls live on and looked forward to her spirit s future journey. Arlene Fredricks
