| 9001 |  | Obituary- Pitts, III, Ralph Ralph Pitts Passes Away Ralph was raised on a farm near Delia and went to Rossville High. However he graduated from Maple Hill High. Ralph Lowell Pitts, III, 72 of Golden, Missouri and formerly of White City, passed away suddenly Saturday, January 5, 2019 in Abilene, Kansas. Ralph was born on May 11, 1946 in Rochester, Indiana, the only son of Ralph Lowell, Jr. and Geraldine (Friesen) Pitts. Ralph grew up on a farm near Delia Kansas and was a 1964 graduate of Maple Hill High School. Ralph joined the Marines upon high school graduation and served his country honorably including a tour of duty in Vietnam during the Vietnam war. Returning to Kansas following his discharge, Ralph began his civilian career as a lineman with Kansas Power and Light in Topeka. On April 13, 1968, he was united in marriage to Mary Jane Reppart. They began their married life in Topeka until Ralph was promoted to outside agent assigned to the White City office, covering the Woodbine, Latimer, White City, Parkerville, Dwight and Alta Vista areas. The family, which then included four children, moved to rural Dwight while building their home in White City in 1978. Moving to White City in 1979, the Pitts family was very involved in numerous activities in the community. Ralph was a member of the White City American Legion and was instrumental in getting a new building moved to the Legion site in the early 1980’s. He was also instrumental in the American Legion’s many haunted houses they transformed at numerous sites. Ralph served several years as the Legion commander for the White City post. He also was very involved with the summer ball association. Ralph was an avid sports fan and rarely missed a sporting activity or other activities and programs involving his kids. He loved to hunt and fish and loved nothing better than he and Mary Jane entertaining with a big fish fry each summer. Mary Jane passed away on June 30, 2003. Ralph never met a stranger, was always willing to help out anyone in need, never too busy to assist with a project in the community or school and amassed a huge crowd of friends over the years. After retirement from Westar Energy in 2007, he continued to enjoy his past times of fishing and boating, including fishing trips with family and friends. On November 26, 2010, Ralph was united in marriage to Christine Paul. They made their home near Golden, Missouri where they had just recently built a new home on a lake. Ralph loved to spend time with his family, especially entertaining his grandchildren. He also enjoyed the many friendships he and Christine had made where they lived. He loved being near the lake to fish and go boating. Ralph was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Mary Jane and his daughter Kim in 2006. He is survived by his wife, Christine, of the home; two sons, Shawn and wife Elissa of Fort Collins, Colorado and J. J. and wife Libby of Nortonville, Kansas; a daughter, Jayme Urban and fiancée Chase Fairchild of Abilene, Kansas; twelve grandchildren, Jarett, Macy and Ryder Pitts, Baylee, Meagan and Jenna Pitts and Kate and Chloe Urban, Bailey and Casey Ireland and Daylan and Trytan Fairchild; a step-daughter, Donna Prickett and husband, Kevin and their children, Emilia, Elisha and Christina of Carlton, Kansas; three sisters, Shirley Henderson of Carbondale, Linda Downie of Topeka and Nancy Mercer of Delia, several nieces and nephews and a host of friends. Ralph was an organ donor and later his remains were cremated. A memorial service will be held Thursday, January 10, at 10:30 a.m. at the White City United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers, memorials honoring Ralph’s life may be given to the Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation and sent in care of Ralph’s daughter, Jayme Urban, at 618 NW 8th St., Abilene, KS 67410. | |
| 9002 |  | Obituary- Pitts, John John Andrew Pitts John Andrew Pitts, 74, Topeka, died Monday, May 6, 1996, at Melvern Lake. Mr. Pitts operated heavy equipment for Local No. 101 Hoisting and Portable Engineers until he retired. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was born May 3, 1922, in Bourbon County, the son of Arthur Harrison and Nola Elizabeth Inman Pitts. Mr. Pitts was a member of Local No. 101 Hoisting and Portable Engineers. He was married to Grace A. Beckford on Sept. 19, 1948, at Harding. She died Dec. 22, 1984. Survivors include a daughter, Darla L. Conner, Rossville; four brothers, David Lusk, Goodson, Mo., Edward Lusk and Calvin Pitts, both of Fort Scott, and Kenneth "Pete” Pitts, Olathe; five sisters, Helen Hood, Josephine Michaels and Grace Buford, all of Fort Scott. Juanita Schroder, Topeka, and Rowena Hines, Columbus, Ohio; and two grandchildren. Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the Parker-Price Mortuary. Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Friday at Mapelton Cemetery at Mapelton. Mr. Pitts will lie in state after 8 a.m. Thursday at the mortuary. | |
| 9003 |  | Obituary- Pitts, Ralph RALPH L. PITTS Ralph L. Pitts, 62, well-known stockman and farmer of the Willard community, died Friday in a hospital in Kansas City, Mo. He had been critically ill for many months past at his Willard home. He was born in McLean, Ill., June 29, 1882, and moved to Willard in 1915. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Elea Staley Pitts; one daughter, Mrs. Isabel Pitts Hernandes, San Francisco, Calif.; two sons, Ralph L. Pitts, Jr., Rochester, Indiana, and Ensign Stalky L. Pitts, with the. Navy overseas; one sister, Mrs. Sarah L. Withrow, McLean; three brothers, Herbert Pitts, Tyler, Texas Louis and George Pitts, McLean, and by five grandchildren. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at the Wall-Diffenderfer Mortuary in Topeka. Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery. | |

He was born Nov. 28, 1908, at Wheeling, Mo., the son of Ralph Pitts Sr., and Elza Staley Pitts. He lived at Willard, Rossville and Maple Hill before he moved to Delia nine years ago. Mr. Pitts was a retired carpenter and dairy farmer. He was married to Geraldine Friesen on Dec. 20, 1933, at Kansas City. She survives. Other survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Shirley Henderson, Carbondale, Mrs. Linda Downie, 4843 N.W. 78th, Topeka, and Mrs. Nancy Mercer, Delia; a son, Ralph L. Pitts III, White City; a brother, Staley L. Pitts, West Covina, Calif.; 17 grandchildren; and four great-grandsons. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Parker-Price Mortuary, Topeka. | 9005 |  | Obituary- Plantamura, Peggy PEGGY J. NAVARRE PLANTAMURA Peggy Navarre Plantamura, age 78, of West Long Branch, NJ, died Wednesday, Nov. 29,2006 at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch. Peggy was a volunteer at the West Long Branch Public Library, and was a member of the Ft. Monmouth Officers Wife Club. Having a passion for golf, she could always be found playing at SunEagle’s Golf Course at Ft. Monmouth. Mrs. Plantamura was a parishioner of St. Jerome Roman Catholic Church, West Long Branch. Born and raised in Rossville, Kan., the daughter of Peter and Minnie Navarre, she had lived in West Long Branch since 1954. She was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Joseph A. Plantamura in 1997. Surviving are four sons and three daughters-in-laws, Michael Plantamura, Brick; Peter and Kathy Plantamura, Weston, Fla.; Vincent and Anne Plantamura Eatontown; Chris and Terry Plantamura, Elberon; a daughter and son-in-law, Maria and William Younger, West Long Branch; six grandchildren, Peter and Michelle and their mother Cindy; Paul “PJ”, Carly, Jamie and Katie. Funeral services were held Saturday, Dec. 2 at the Damiano Funeral Home, Long Branch, followed by Mass at St Jerome Church. Interment was at Woodbine Cemetery, Oceanport. | 9006 |  | Obituary- Pletcher, Barbara Mrs. Barbara Pletcher Mrs. Barbara Pletcher, 39, Route 1, Maple Hill, died Friday in a Topeka convalescent center. She had multiple sclerosis about five years. She was born April 7, 1932, near Dover and spent most of her life in the Dover and Maple Hill communities. She was a member of the Federated Church and Nina Chapter No. 486, Order of Eastern Star, both at Dover. She was married to Bill Pletcher April 13,1951. He survives. Other survivors include two sons, William Pletcher and Tim Pletcher, both at home; two brothers, Austin Riley, Route 7, and Charles Riley, Route 9; and a sister, Mrs. Betty Weaver, Dunedin, Fla. | 9008 |  | Obituary- Plummer, Darlene Darlene M. Plummer Darlene M. Plummer, 81, of Topeka, passed away on Wednesday, January 6,2016 at Homestead of Topeka. She was born Oct. 30,1934, in Lawrence, Kansas, the daughter of Raymond and Helen Schilling Segrist. At six years of age she was adopted by Maude and Walter Plummer, her great aunt and uncle. She graduated from Topeka High School in 1952. Darlene was employed 41 years with the Topeka-Shawnee County Health Agency before retiring from her position as Personnel Officer. Darlene was a member of the Eastside Baptist Church where, for many years, she participated as pianist and organist, and taught Sunday School. She helped to establish and staff the church library, and served as Church Clerk and Board Secretary. She was a past member of the Kansas Public Health Association, a current member of the WCTU, and a member of the City Retirees club. Darlene is survived by a sister, Tommie M. Anderson of Rossville, and one brother, Irvin Fredrick Segrist of Pasadena, TX, several nieces and nephews and a host of cousins. Darlene was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Clarence Raymond Segrist. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, January 11, 2016 at East Side Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Penwell Gabel Cemetery. Darlene will lie in state and the family will receive friends from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. Sunday, January 10, 2016 at Penwell-Gabel Southeast Chapel. She was born July 8, 1942, in Detroit, Mich., the daughter of Arthur I. and Irene Nettle Naponen, and lived in Detroit, Mich., before she moved to Topeka in 1968. She was born Jan. 22, 1901, in Axtell, the daughter of James and Edna Jackson. Mrs. Pokorney was a member of The First Christian Church of Rossville. She also belonged to Loyal Chapter No. 176, Order of the Eastern Star of Silver Lake, and the Royal Neighbors. She organized the Good Neighbors in Rossville in 1977. She was married to Harry K. Pokorney June 1, 1922, at Little River. He died in March 1969. Survivors include a son, James Pokorney, Silver Lake; two grandsons; and two great grandsons. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at The First Christian Church, Rossville. Private burial will be in Miltonvale Cemetery. | 9014 |  | Obituary- Pokorney, Ella 2 Ella Pokorney ROSSVILLE – Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at First Christian Church here for Ella Pokorney, 93, formerly of Rossville, who died Saturday, June 18, 1994, at a Wamego hospital. She had been in the Valley Vista nursing home in Wamego since July 5, 1990. She was born Jan. 22, 1901, in Axtell, the daughter of James and Edna Jackson, and moved to Little River in Rice County with her parents in 1903. She spent her early life in Little River and lived in Miltonvale before she moved to Rossville in 1973. She was a member of First Christian Church in Rossville, Loyal Chapter No. 176 of Order of Eastern Star in Silver Lake, and Royal Neighbors of America. She was instrumental in establishing the Good Neighbors organization in Rossville in 1977. She was married to Harry K. Pokorney June 1, 1922, in Little River. He died in March 1969. Survivors include a son, James Pokorney, Silver Lake; two grandsons; and two great-grandsons. Loyal Chapter No. 176 of Order of Eastern Star will conduct a service at the church in Rossville. Private burial will be in Miltonvale Cemetery in Cloud County. Mrs. Pokorney will lie in state from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Parker-Price Mortuary in Topeka relatives and friends will meet from 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesday. | 9015 |  | Obituary- Pokorney, James James H. "Jim" Pokorney James Harvey Pokorney, 84, passed away Monday, February 10, 2020 at Midland Hospice House. He was born October 4, 1935 in Concordia, the son of Harry and Ella (Jackson) Pokorney. He grew up in Aurora and Miltonvale, graduating from Miltonvale High School. Jim was a farmer, a telegrapher for Union Pacific Railroad for nine years, and then found his real calling in 1969, building houses. He ran his construction company for 30+ years, retiring in 2000. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Lake Lodge #50 AF & AM, and Loyal Chapter #176 OES, all of Silver Lake. He was a member of the Scottish Rite in Topeka and the Antique Automobile Club of America, Topeka Region. He loved woodworking, raising flowers, restoring old cars and all cats. His happiest times were with all of the family for celebrations. On June 5, 1955 he was united in marriage to Dorothy Streeter in Clay Center. She survives. Other survivors include two sons, Sheldon Pokorney, Lawrence and Kevin Pokorney, Rossville; two grandsons, Shawn Pokorney, Overland Park and Shane (Cassie) Pokorney; and one great-grandson, Abel Pokorney. He died Nov. 9, 1987, at a Dallas hospital. He was born Oct. 12 at Lancaster. Survivors besides his parents include a brother, Guthrie Pollard, at home; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Allen Rose, Rossville, Kan., Mr. and Mrs. L.M. Pollard, De Soto, Texas; and a great-grandmother, Sylvia Britt, Rossville, Kan. Lloyd Autry Pollard Services and burial were at Mineola for Lloyd Autry Pollard, 28 day-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Martin Pollard, Lancaster. He died November 9, 1987, at a Dallas hospital. He was born October 12, 1987 at Lancaster. In addition to his parents, he is survived by a brother, Guthrie Pollard, at home; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Allen Rose, Rossville, KS, Mr. and Mrs. L.M. She was born December 9, 1974, at Topeka, the daughter of Kenneth L. and Norma J. Reicherter Bennett. Yvonne was raised in Rossville and attended Rossville Schools. She had lived in the Barnes community the past eight years and had previously lived in Ogden. Yvonne was a Finisher for Travalong Trailer Manufacturing and had worked for Titan Manu¬facturing both in Waterville. She was a member of Jimmie Lillard Post No. 31 of the American Legion Auxiliary in Rossville. She was preceded in death by 2 brothers Dennis L. Bennett on July 25, 1985 and Randy L. Bennett, Oct. 1,1992. She was united in marriage to Douglas W. Pollman on August 23,1996 at Las Vegas NV. He survives of the home. Other survivors include her children, Cody and Ashley both of the home; her parents, Kenneth and Norma Bennett, Rossville; and a brother Mark Bennett, Topeka. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 A.M. Friday, December 1, 2006 at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Rossville. Interment will be in the Rossville Cemetery. She will lie in state after 2:00 P.M. Thursday November 30, 2006 at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Rossville where there will be a prayer vigil at 7:00 P.M. Mitchell Poison, 87, Rossville, who died Friday, Oct. 23, 1998, at a hospital in St. Marys. She was born Sept. 11, 1911, in Maple Hill, to George and Ethel Lister Mitchell. She lived in the Holton community many years and in the Rossville community since 1970. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church in Rossville. She was married to Ellis R. Poison Oct. 4, 1928, in Seneca. He died Oct. 28, 1970. A granddaughter also preceded her in death. Survivors include daughters, Tina Olejnik, Rossville, and Greta Olejnik, Holton; a brother, Ted Mitchell, Rossville; sisters, Velda O'Donnell, Paxico, Sylvia Britt, Rossville, Elvara Olejnik, Delia, Roxie Banta, Silver Lake, and Ruby Adams, Portland, Ore.; a grandson; tour grand¬daughters; four great-grandsons and three great-granddaughters. She was born September 11, 1911, in Maple Hill, the daughter of George and Ethel Lister Mitchell. She had lived in the Rossville community since November 1970. Mrs. Polson was a homemaker. She lived in the Holton community for many years. She was a member of the Rossville Presbyterian Church. On October 4, 1928, she was married to Ellis R. Polson in Seneca. He died October 28, 1970. She was also predeceased by a brother, Glen Mitchell, and a granddaughter. Surviving her are two daughters, Tina Olejnik, Rossville, and Greta Olejnik, Holton; one brother, Ted Mitchell, Rossville; five sisters, Velda O’Donnell, Paxico, Sylvia Britt, Rossville, Elvara Olejnik, Delia, Roxie Banta, Silver Lake, and Ruby Adams, Portland, OR; one grandson, four grand-daughters, four great-grandsons; and three great-granddaughters. | 9034 |  | Obituary- Prater, Clarence CLARENCE PRATER DIES IN MOTORCYCLE ACCIDENT The parents and friends of Clarence Prater were shocked beyond expression when word came Saturday of the death of Clarence Prater and a companion on Highway 36 near St. Joe Mo. No one saw the accident but the press report below is the result of investigation by the authorities. It says: “The attempt of a farmer to awaken two “sleeping” youths at the edge of a filling station driveway disclosed that both were dead, victims of a motor cycle accident. Albert Chambers, the farmer, and Norman Conner, who operates the filling station on U. S. Highway 36, had seen the bodies for some time. A motorcycle was nearby, apparently parked, and the two men believed the riders had become tired and were napping on the grass. When a light shower started to fall, Chambers decided to warn the pair. The victims were Glenn Nelson Campbell, 19, of St. Joseph, and Clarence A. Prater, 22, of Rossville, Kan. Both were employed by the Southwestern Bell Telephone Company engaged in construction work near Hamilton, Mo. They had lost control of the motorcycle on a curve and, after going thru the filling station driveway, the vehicle had struck a pole, apparently killing both instantly. The accident is believed to have occurred about 5 a.m.” Clarence was the youngest of eleven children of Mr. and Mrs. H. K. Prater, and the first death in their family. Surviving besides his parents, are, three sisters, Mrs. Gladys Skidmore of Willard; Mrs. Opal Montgomery, of San Bernardino, Calif., and Mrs. Fern Denton, of Burlingame; seven brothers, Henry, Ralph, Ray and Russell of San Francisco, Roy of Alamorgordo, N.M., Earl of Rossville and Omar of Topeka. He was born at Rossville, April 26, 1926, and attended both schools here. He was graduated from Rossville High School in 1944 and served two years in the Navy. He was a member of Capitol Post No. 1, American Legion. He was enroute home to spend Mother’s Day with his parents. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the Christian church conducted by Orel Newbrey. Music for the services was furnished by Mrs. O. S. Boyd and Mrs. Marlin Harth, with Mrs. Joe Campbell, accompanist. Pallbearers were the seven brothers. Later he returned to Ohio to enter the Ohio Medical college, now the medical college in the University of Cincinnati, and received his M.D. degree there in 1884. He returned to Topeka the following year as resident physician at Christ’s hospital, the first interne to serve that institution. He then practiced two years at Rossville, and eight years at Beverly, Lincoln county, Kan. In 1895 he returned to Rossville and practiced there for 24 years until 1919 when he returned to Topeka. Several years ago he retired from medical practice, due to failing health. While at Rossville he was president of the Peoples State Bank. He continued to serve as vice president after going to Topeka. In 1888 Dr. Pratt married Miss Jennie DeVinney of Chillicothe, O. Mrs. Pratt passed away April 4, 1931. Dr. Pratt was the oldest member of Hesperian Lodge, No. 111, A. F. & A. M. of Rossville, and a member of the York Rite and Scottish Rite bodies at Topeka. He was also a member of the Modern Woodmen and the Royal Neighbors. He is survived by a son, Dudley J. Pratt, College Station, Texas; a daughter, Mrs. Esther Parr, Rossville; two grandchildren, Roland and Virginia Parr; and two brothers, O. Albion Pratt and John D. Pratt of Topeka. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o’clock from the Conwell funeral home in Topeka, conducted by Rev. Wright Horton of the Rossville M. E. church. A eulogy spoken in words most fitting, and a tribute to the deceased, was given by Mr. Horton. The music was furnished by Mrs. William Hesse, Mrs. Art Wallerstedt, Mrs. C. E. Gresser, and Mrs. Peter Navarre, with Miss Edith Higginbotham as accompanist. Members of the Knight Templars assisted with the funeral services. Hesperian lodge conducted burial services at Rossville cemetery. The pall bearers were William Hese, A. L. Ruff, F. P. McCollough, Ted Fields, C. E. Gresser, C. W. Vorhies, A. N. | 9042 |  | Obituary- Pratt, John JOHN D. PRATT John D. Pratt, 79, of 833 North Jackson, long-time merchant of North Topeka, died unexpectedly at his home late Saturday. With his brother, the late O. A. Pratt, they owned and operated for more than 50 years the Pratt Hardware store at 901-903 North Kansas, now the Ed Marling store of North Topeka, until it was sold 10 years ago. O. A. Pratt died a few years later. Mr. Pratt was born January 27, 1871 near Topeka. He was a member of First Presbyterian church and served as an elder. He also was affiliated with the Golden Rule lodge 90, AFAM. He was preceded in death by his wife Mrs. Anna L. Pratt, August 2, 1949. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Gladys Lamb; two grandsons, John and Charles Lamb, and two great-grandsons, Donald and Charles Alan, all of Littleton, Colo.; several nieces and nephews including Dudley Pratt of 118 Taylor, Chester W. Pratt of 412 West Fourteenth, and Mrs. Joe Parr of Rossville. Funeral services were held Tuesday at 2 p. m. at the Parker Mortuary. Burial was in the Rochester cemetery. She was born in Junction City, Kansas, Aug. 29, 1902. She lived in Rossville and graduated from the High school in 1919. After her marriage to Merritt C. Pratt of Lake Forest, Ill., Feb. 23, 1924, she made her home in Chicago. Mrs. Pratt was a member of the Buena Memorial Presbyterian church where she has taken an active part in the church Guild. She was a teacher and secretary in the Beginners’ Dept. at Sunday school. She was a member of the Marshall Field’s Woman club. Mrs. Pratt is survived by her husband Merritt and little daughter Jule of Chicago; her mother, Mrs. Leota Owens of Richland; a brother Riley Mitchell of Kansas City; two grandmothers, Mrs. Mellory Richland and Mrs. Eliza Mitchell of Rossville. Funeral services were held Monday July 15, from Schatz funeral chapel and burial in Rosehill cemetery in Chicago. | |

| 9045 |  | Obituary- Preble, Nancy Nancy H. (McClain) Preble, 87, a retired educator, died at her home in Mesa on July 21, of natural causes. Nancy was born at home in Rossville, Kansas on March 30, 1929, the 7th child of Roy and Eva (Trimble) McClain. Penny, as she was nicknamed, graduated from Rossville High School in 1947. She met the love of her life, Walter C Preble when she was in high school. Their love grew through letters exchanged during his service in the US Army. They were married on February 16, 1948 in Lincoln, Nebraska. They enjoyed 44 years of marriage until Walt preceded her in death in 1992. They lived in Grove, Kansas until buying land and building a home just outside Rossville, Kansas. Penny worked as a bookkeeper at Farm Bureau Insurance and KPL, but most of her life was dedicated to caring for and teaching children. She was a paraprofessional in a special needs preschool at Rossville and Delia Elementary Schools before moving to Arizona in 1984. She worked at Gilbert Junior High School, retiring in 1997 to care for her grandchildren. A lifelong sports fan, Penny loved cheering her kids as they played baseball, football, basketball, softball and volleyball, or raced mini-spring cars. She also became an avid Suns fan upon her arrival in the Valley. She is survived by a sister, Mazie, of Rossville; four sons, Myles (Noree) and Mark (Phet), both of Salt Lake City, UT; Chris (Tammy), of Sun City; and Jim (Lynn) of Mesa, and one daughter, Karen (Dan) Clayton, of Phoenix; 13 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He died at his home on June 2, after a long illness. He was born in Scandia, Ks., on March 28, 1926, the son of Walter and Alta Simms Preble. He graduated from Scandia High School and attended business college in Topeka. He served in the U.S. Army following World War II in the Occupation Forces in Japan. He was a rural mail carried in Rossville for 24 of the 36 years of service with the U.S. Post Office. He was a member of the United Methodist Church in Scandia and a long time member of the National Rural Letter Carriers Association. Survivors include his wife, Nancy, Mesa, Ariz.; four sons, Myles Preble and Mark Preble, both of Salt Lake City, Utah, Chris Preble, Glendale, Calif., and Jim Preble, Mesa, Ariz.; a daughter, Karen, Mesa, Ariz.; and six grandchildren. She was recently preceded in death by two of her three children, Karen Figge and Ronald Pressgrove. Four siblings also preceded her in death; brothers, George, Rudy, Henry and Ed Olejnik. Josephine was a homemaker and loved cooking, gardening, crocheting and sewing. She was noted for her delicious Kolaches and always had her Seek-A-Word close at hand.
