She was born June 9, 1913 in Wrigley, KY the daughter of Kelly and Alpha Smith Keeton. She lived in Shawnee County most of her life and had resided in Willard for 47 years. She served as Willard City Treasurer and City Clerk for many years. She served on the school boards of the Willard Grade School and Rossville High School. She also served on election boards for over 50 years. She was a member of the Willard Baptist Church, the West Union Happy Hour Club and the HDU. She was a 50 years member of Clarice Chapter No. 390 and dual member of Loyal Chapter No. 176, Order of the Eastern Star. She served as Worthy Batron of the former Nina Chapter No. 286, OES, where she was a member for 39 years of which she was Chaplain for 20 years. She was married to Oscar McKenzie on November 15, 1933. He died February 27,1997. Survivors include sons, Clyde (Ann) McKenzie, Marietta, GA, Neil (Nancy) McKenzie, Willard; step son, Ray (Donna) McKenzie, Tallahassee, FL; sisters, Juanita Lister, Maple Hill, KS and Bonnie (Dan) Daniels, Ogden, UT; step brother, Melvin (Norma) Walter, Big Springs, KS, six grandchildren, three step grandchildren, and eleven great grandchildren. Funeral services will be 1p.m. Thurs., at Kevin Brennan Family Funeral Home, 2801 SW Urish Rd., Topeka, KS. Services will be conducted by the Rev. Stephen Gee, Rossville, KS. Eastern Star service will also be conducted. Interment will follow at Valencia Cemetery. | 8102 |  | Obituary- McKeown, Netta Mrs. Netta L. McKeown WICHITA — Services were Monday at Cochran Mortuary here for Mrs. Netta L. McKeown, 97, formerly of Topeka. She died July 22, 1987, at a Wichita nursing home. Mrs. McKeown formerly taught at Highland Park High School in Topeka. She later taught in Hutchinson schools before she retired. She was born Nov. 5, 1889, at Rossville, the daughter of William and Ella Musick Startup. Mrs. McKeown was a member of First United Methodist Church. Gleaners Sunday school class at the church and 20th Century Club, all at Wichita. She was married to Dr. Charles Davis McKeown in 1935. He died in 1958. Survivors include a son. Willis McKeown, Wichita, three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Burial was in White Chapel Memorial Gardens at Wichita. | |

Mrs. McKinley was a clerk 13 years for Santa Fe Railways before she retired in 1976. She earlier worked for Security National Bank in Kansas City. She was born April 1, 1925, in St. Marys, the daughter of John and Mary Brunin Dohrman. She lived in the Kansas City area since 1944. Mrs. McKinley was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church in Kansas City. Survivors include a son, Jay B. McKinley, Kansas City; seven sisters, Sally Simecka, Delores Floersch and Margaret Tomson, all of Delia, Catherine Reilly and Germain Durow, both of Topeka, Mary Jones, Salina, and Veronica Dary, Kansas City, Kan.; and a brother, Leo Dohrman, St. Marys. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. today in Christ the King Catholic Church here. Entombment will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum in Kansas City. George F. | 8105 |  | Obituary- McLain, Charles 1 Charles T. “Chip” McLain Charles Ted “Chip” McLain, 35, Rossville, died Friday, July 2, 1999 at his home. A coroner was notified, and an autopsy was scheduled. Chip was born October 23, 1963, in Topeka, the son of Charles A. and Georgia E. McCall McLain. He had lived in the Rossville community most of his life. Mr. McLain was a heavy equipment operator and worked construction. He was married to Susie Davis. They were later divorced. Surviving him are a son, Benjamin Charles McLain, Topeka; two daughters, Sarah Elizabeth McLain and Hannah Louise McLain, both of Topeka; a stepson, Daniel Aaron Davis, Topeka; his mother and stepfather, Georgia E. and Ernest L. Stark, Rossville; his father and stepmother, Charles A. and Cheryl McLain, Topeka; three sisters, Joi L. Ridder, Silver Lake, Amber Colleen Huske, Rossville, and LauRay C. McLain, Topeka; and his grand¬parents, Theodore G. McCall, Sr., Juanita L. McCall, both of Topeka, and Josie Seaman, Granite City, IL. He was preceded in death by a brother, Bobby Dale McCall. | 8107 |  | Obituary- McLain, Charles A. Charles A. McLain Charles A. McLain, Topeka (formerly of Rossville) passed away at home with his family by his side on April 28th, 2021 after a valiant battle with kidney cancer. Charlie was born July 5th, 1943 to Thomas & Josie Taylor McLain in Senath, MO. He later moved with his family to the St. Louis area, where he met his wife of 28 years, Jo. They later divorced but remained close friends. She preceded him in death. Charlie retired from Goodyear in 1997 after 33 years of service. Charlie, or “Chuck” was an avid bowler and leaves behind many great friends in the bowling community. He loved spending time at the casino and loved his Royals, Chiefs and Jayhawks. He proudly passed on this love to his family. Charlie was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Tom, a sister Kathy, nephew Tony and his son, Charles (Chip) McLain. He is survived by three sisters, Freida (Jimmy) Noonan, Brenda (Jerry) Sessums, and Doris Smith. He is also survived by three daughters, LauRay McLain, Topeka, Joi (John) Ridder and Amber (Jeff) Huske, all of Silver Lake, nine grandchildren, Darrell (DJ) and Trint Crosswhite, Jakob and Jennah Ridder, Kali and Garrett Huske, and Ben, Sarah, and Hannah McLain, 12 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Charlie was cremated at his request and arrangements are pending and will be announced at a later date. | |
| 8108 |  | Obituary- McLean, James JAMES McLEAN James McLean, 78, was found dead in his room above the Cless Hardware about noon Sunday. From the badly decomposed condition of the body coroner deducted he had been dead since Friday night. L. F. Page found the body and reported to the authorities. Mr. McLean lived alone. It appeared he had fallen just as he entered the door of his room, stricken with a heart attack. Mr. McLean came to Rossville, first about 1909 or 1910 and conducted a real estate business. Some years later he remarried and moved to Texas, and after some years absence returned to Rossville. Of late years he had represented a Missouri Nursery Co. and was a familiar figure about the farming districts as he walked from house to house selling his wares. His only known survivors are a daughter, Mrs. H. A. White of Biggsville, Illinois; and Mrs. Evelyn Johnson, of Topeka, who during her girlhood made her home for a time with Mrs. Elma Binns. Because of the condition of the body no funeral service was held and the body interred in a Topeka cemetery. | |
| 8109 |  | Obituary- McLin, Gordon Gordon McLin Gordon McLin, 87, Silver Lake, died Wednesday, July 22, 1998, at Stormont-Vail Regional Health Center in Topeka. He was born October 10,1910, at Silver Lake, the son of James Grant and Georgia Ann Hauha McLin, and lived in the Silver Lake area all of his life. Mr. McLin graduated from Silver Lake High School and attended Strickler’s Business College in Topeka. He was engaged in farming, and also worked for Grove Township. Mr. and Mrs. McLin owned and operated the Grove Country Store from 1948 to 1963; and owned the I.G.A. store at Delia from 1963 to 1968. Mr. McLin was a member of the Delia Lions Club and the Grove Harvest Grange. He was united in marriage to Mary P. Mongold on October 31, 1937, at Beattie. She survives. He is also survived by one son, Marshall McLin, Silver Lake; two grandchildren and two great- granddaughters. He was preceded in death by a brother, Wattis McLin, and two sisters, Ethel McLin and Ruby Moser. The family received friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Parker-Price Mortuary in Topeka. His service was at 11:00 Saturday morning at the mortuary; burial was in Walnut Hill Cemetery near Grove, in Shawnee County. Gordon McLin SILVER LAKE — Gordon McLin, 87, Silver Lake, died Wednesday, July 22, 1998, at a Topeka hospital. Mr. McLin and his wife owned and operated, the Grove Country Store from 1948 to 1963 and the IGA Store at Delia from 1963 to 1968. He also farmed and had worked for the Grove Township. He was born Oct. 10, 1910, at Silver Lake, the son of James Grant and Georgia Ann Huaha McLin. He was graduated from Silver Lake High School and attended Strickler’s Business College in Topeka. He was a life-long resident of the Silver Lake area. Mr. McLin was a member of the Delia Lions Club and Grove Harvest Grange. He was married to Mary P. Mongold on Oct. 31, 1937, at Beattie. She survives. Other survivors include a son, Marshall McLin, Silver Lake; two grandchildren; and two great-granddaughters. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Parker-Price Mortuary in Topeka. Burial will be at Walnut Hill Cemetery at Grove. Mrs. McLin and her husband owned and operated the Grove country Store from 1948 to 1963 and the IGA store in Delia from 1963 to 1968. She later worked for the State of Kansas for 10 years, and she was caretaker for the Walnut Hill Cemetery at Grove for many years. She also served 15 years on the Shawnee County Election Board. She was born Aug. 7, 1916, in Silver Lake, the daughter of Hiram and Lillian Goodrick Mongold. She graduated from Silver Lake High School and was a lifelong resident of Silver Lake. Mrs. McLin was a member of the Silver Lake United Methodist Church, Grove Harvest Grange and Delia Quilters, and she was a 4-H leader for 25 years. She married J. Gordon McLin on Oct. 31, 1937, at Beattie. He died July 22,1998. Survivors include a son, Marshall McLin, Silver Lake; two brothers, Homer Mongold, Silver Lake, and George Mongold, Perry; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Parker- Price Mortuary in Topeka. Burial will be at Walnut Hill Cemetery at Grove. | 8111 |  | Obituary- McMahan, Howard Howard Dane McMahan, age 86, passed away on December 19, 2016. Memorial Service Thursday, December 29th 3 pm at First Jefferson Unitarian Church, 1959 Sandy Lane, Fort Worth, TX 76112. Howard, the youngest son of Irl and Anna McMahan, grew up on a dairy farm in Rossville, Kansas. After receiving a Bachelors Degree from Geneva College, Beaver Falls, PA in 1952, he received his Masters Degree in Public Administration from the University of Kansas in 1954. While doing an Administrative Internship in University City, Missouri, he met his wife, Myrtle Shucart. He did his thesis on the history of University City, working for Elder Gunter, a pioneer in City Management. Howard was drafted into the Army in the fall of 1954. On December 8, 1954, Howard and Myrtle were married. Howard served two years, stationed at Fort Chaffee, Arkansas where daughter Deborah was born. In 1956, Howard went to work for the City of Kansas City, Missouri in the Research and Budget Department, where he worked with Jerry Brownlie for the first time. The McMahan’s second daughter, Brenda, was born there. In 1959, the McMahans moved to Boulder, Colorado, where Howard served for 2 14 years as Director of Finance and Record and son Michael was born. In 1962, the McMahans moved to Littleton, Colorado where Howard served as City Manager until 1966. Howard spent many months rebuilding the city that had experienced a devastating flood. In 1969, Jerry Brownlie, City Manager of Fort Worth, Texas enticed the McMahans to move to Fort Worth. It was an exciting time in the history of Fort Worth, as Dallas and Fort Worth had just signed the documents to build the DFW Airport. Howard became Finance Director and helped purchase much of the land that the airport sits on. In May 1967, Mr. Brownlie resigned, and Howard, age 37, was appointed City Manager, where he served until March, 1971. In March of 1971 the US Government offered him a position as Regional Director, Region VI, Department of Health, Education and Welfare. He was appointed by President Nixon in February 1972 as Chairman, Southwest Federal Regional Council. In January 1974, the McMahans moved to Oklahoma City where Howard served as City Manager for 2 1/2 years. In the Spring of 1976, Jerry Brownlie, then CEO of Justin Industries, offered Howard a job and the McMahans returned to Fort Worth. Howard served first as Vice President of Justin Industries and then as President of Justin Boot Company. Howard spent the last 14 years of his working career as a Senior Vice President of Harris Methodist Hospital System overseeing their hospitals in rural areas. He retired in 1996. Howard was active in the Unitarian Universalist Faith. He served twice as President of First Jefferson Unitarian Universalist Church, was one of the founding members of Westside Unitarian Church where he served twice as their president. He served on the North Texas Association of Unitarian Universalist Societies as their treasurer, and as treasurer of their Endowment Fund. After a fire in the McMahan's home in 1983, prior to 911, Howard helped the Girl Scouts and the League of Women Voters, Howard being one of their first male members, get the issue put on a ballot. Upon formation, he chaired the 911 Board. Howard was instrumental in uniting Harris Methodist, St. Josephs, Hugley, and Arlington Memorial hospitals and forming Community Hospice of Texas. He chaired their board for almost 10 years. In addition, Howard served on many other boards and chaired the Fort Worth Ambulance Authority Board. In May of 2000, Howard was named 1999 Volunteer of the Year, City of Fort Worth. Howard was a Rotarian for many years, and was a member of the Ten Spokes Investment Club. In more recent years, the McMahans became active members of the Friendship Force of Fort Worth, traveling to many interesting countries and hosting members from other countries. Howard's greatest achievements, pride and joy, however, were his marriage of 62 years to his wife Myrtle, and his family: 3 children and their spouses, 9 grandchildren and their spouses and 9 greatgrandchildren. The family would like to thank James L. West Alzheimer Center for caring for Howard the past three years and Community Hospice of Texas for assisting in his care these past few months. in lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials go to Westside UU Church, Community Hospice of Texas, James L. West Alzheimer Center or the charity of your choice. As he believed he could continue to make a difference after his death, Howard donated his body to University of North Texas Medical School. McMahan who passed away Thursday evening at the Clay Center hospital. Mrs. McMahan is the mother of I. O. McMahan of Topeka, formerly of this community. She was 95 years old on April 5 and had enjoyed good health until about two years ago and had entered the hospital only last Sunday. Mr. McMaster was a truck driver for Consolidated Freight and other trucking companies in the Topeka area before he retired. He also served on the Shawnee County Mounted Posse. He was born Dec. 13, 1933, in Eskridge, to Ray and Jennie Eastman McMaster. He graduated from Rossville High School in 1951 and moved to Topeka from Holton in 1966. Mr. McMaster was a member of Seaman Congregational Church, Post No. 1786 of the Veterans of Foreign Wars in Meriden, Topeka North Post No. 400 of the American Legion and the Trucker’s Union Local No. 696. He married Alice C. Massey on Nov. 23, 1955, in Topeka. She survives. Other survivors include a son, Donnie McMaster, Beattie; two daughters, Pamela Kay McMaster, Holton and Angie Carlson, Topeka; a sister, Betty Clinton, Topeka; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Mercer Funeral Home in Holton. Burial will be in Holton Cemetery, Visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. She was born in Silver Lake August 29, 1893, and moved to Ness City in 1315, returning in 1935 to Silver Lake, where she had lived ever since. She was a member of the Silver Lake Baptist church, Ridgely Rebecca Lodge No. 45 of Silver Lake, the Ladies Auxiliary Patriarchs Militant, both of Topeka. She is a past president of the American Legion auxiliary of Silver Lake and a past president of the Silver Lake Community club. She is survived by her husband, Harvey McMickell of Silver Lake; four daughters, Mrs. Berniece Murdock, Glendale, Calif.; Mrs. Winifred Evans of McPherson; Mrs. Doris Uhl of Wakarusa and Mrs. Lorene Crawshaw, Silver Lake; two sons, Joel of Long Beach, Calif., and Alva L. of Silver Lake; four sisters, Mrs. Kate Hundertfund, Topeka; Mrs. Edith Locke, Grand Junction, Colo.; Mrs. Zora Thompson, Topeka, and Mrs. Jessie Davis, Brownell; a brother, Calvin Rankin, Dwight; a nephew, 21 grandchildren and three great-grand-children. He died Sunday, Sept. 30, at a McPherson hospital. Mr. McMickell was a retired farmer. He was born April 25, 1896, at Ness City, the son of Joel and Lettie Reed McMickell. He served in the Army during World War I. He moved to Silver Lake in 1937, and moved to Canton in McPherson County about 15 years ago. He was a member of the Baptist Church at Silver Lake, and of the World War I Veterans Barracks at McPherson. He was married to Emmaretta Rankin Aug. 4, 1921, at Ness City. She died Sept. 3, 1954. Survivors Include two sons, Joel McMickell, Buena Park, Calif., and Alva L. McMickell, Ogden, Utah; four daughters, Mrs. Bernice Pablete, Cucamonga, Calif., Mrs. Winifred Ev-ans, Canton, Mrs. Doris Uhl, Scranton, and Mrs. Lorene Crawshaw, Olathe; two brothers, L.F. | 8117 |  | Obituary- McMillin, Harry Harry Joe McMillin Delia – Harry Joe McMillin, 82, passed away Tuesday, August 24, 2021, at the Midlan Hospice House. He was born March 28, 1939, in Great Bend, the son of Horace F. and Florence L. Marsh McMillin. He was raised in Wolforth, TX. He had lived in Tribune for 13 years and moved to the Rossville and Delia communities where he was a plumber and “Handy Man” for many years. Joe was an avid outdoorsman, he loved to fish & hunt in his younger days. Joe spent many years in scouting at the Tribune Scout Master. Later in life Joe spent many hours making intricate wood carvings to give away to family members, as providing for and keeping his family happy was his ultimate joy. Joe was an excellent mentor, friend, father, brother, grandfather, and even great grandfather whose radiant smile and joyous personality will be missed and cherished by many. Joe was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, and three sisters. On May 20, 1966, he was united in marriage to Virginia Engelhardt at Almena, Kansas. She survives of the home. | 8118 |  | Obituary- McMillin, Virginia Adam Paul Foster, 51, of Rossville, Kansas, died in a tragic accident on Wednesday, February 5th, 2025 near Delia, KS. Adam was born June 14th, 1973, in Topeka, Kansas, the son of David J. and Virginia Rezac Foster. Adam graduated from Rossville High School in 1991 and went on to Kansas State University to take Ag classes pertaining to farming and ranching. Adam married Laci Dick Foster on August 27th, 2005. She, along with their three children, Kerrigan, Ryder, & Bodie, all survive at their home. He is also survived by his mother, Virginia, and a brother, Andrew, and his family, all of Rossville. He was preceded in death by his father, David John Foster. During Adam's youth, he became very talented in an array of things. He learned to play the violin and performed in the Topeka Youth Symphony and could play a variety of music including the Orange Blossom Special. One of the many things he was proud of was his perfect attendance at Sunday school. Every winter with the United Methodist Church he would go skiing and became a very good snow skier. After leaving KSU Adam went on to work at the Keystone Ski Resort for a short time frame. He loved taking his kids skiing and teaching them on the slopes. He also worked at Autosound in Topeka, installing car stereo systems and he enjoyed painting and restoring his 1972 Chevy Blazer. He had a passion for motocross racing, where he would later enjoy teaching his kids how to ride. Adam had a love for the farm and anything to do with it. He spent countless hours checking irrigation, managing his row crops and putting up hay with help from his kids and friends. It was never out of the ordinary to see Adam with at least one if not all three of the family dogs in tow. He would always take them along for daily drives around the countryside. Adam was good at welding, fabricating and turning wrenches. This made him very resourceful, and he was able to look at anything that was broken and find a way to fix it using material he had around the farm. Adam had a love for music, he would drive around with Kerrigan listening to music and give her advice about life. Adam enjoyed spending time in the outdoors and you would often find him hunting, fishing and teaching his boys, Ryder and Bodie about farming and ranching. Adam was a hard worker and he instilled that same hard work ethic into his kids. Regardless of the countless hours he spent working, he would still find time to attend all of his kids' activities. As with many farming communities, Adam was always available to assist others when needed. He had a lot of friends and he prided himself by having the very "best of friends." Those friends were always there when he needed a hand or just someone to talk to. These cherished friends meant a lot to him and he was deeply appreciative for them. In his free time he enjoyed riding his side by side with those same friends and neighbors. He was also extremely proud that he held the status at Topeka PowerSports for having a Honda Pioneer with the highest mileage, and yet still being used daily on the farm. A Celebration of Adam’s Life will take place on Friday, March 21st at 1pm at the Delia Grade School Gym in Delia, KS. She taught eight years in a one-teacher school and then was principal of Emmett Grade School for 16 years. She was postmistress of the Emmett Post Office from 1956 to 1974. She was born Sept. 18, 1904, in Mayetta, the daughter of William David and Jeanette Harrington Cox. She was graduated from Emmett High School in 1924. Mrs. McNeive was a member of Holy Cross Church and the Altar Society at the church in Emmett, the Delta Kappa Gamma social sorority, Jolly Workers in Emmett, Emmett Senior Citizens, Emmett Service Club and the National Association of Postmasters, Retired. She was married to Francis J. McNeive on June 18, 1930, in Emmett. He died March 4, 1967. A son, Ted J. McNeive, died April 14, 1990. Survivors include a daughter, Mary J. "Teta" Dougherty, Overland Park; two sisters, Anna Whittington, Mayetta, and Almeda Salisbury, St. Marys; 10 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. McNeive, 71, Edmond, who died Sunday in a hospital here. He had a heart ailment. He was born Oct. 20, 1906, at Delia in Jackson County and spent most of his life in the Edmond community in Norton County. He was a grain dealer 37 years before he retired in 1972. Mr. McNeive was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus Council No. 1510, both of Densmore. He was a member of Elks Lodge No. 1995 at Hill City. He was married to Gertrude O'Connor June 6, 1932, at Logan. She survives. Other survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Nancy Riccardi, Olathe; a brother, A.A. McNeive, Great Bend; a sister, Mrs. Helen Lough, Albion, Neb.; and two grandchildren. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery at Densmore. Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Tuesday at the church at Densmore. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or to the Kansas Heart Association. Little Tom was ill but two days with pneumonia. All that a loving father and mother could do, was done but all to no avail. The funeral services were held at his home and conducted by Father McNeive. She was born January 14, 1919 at Jamestown, TN the daughter of Jesse and Mildred Hurst Evans. She grew up and attended schools in the Valley Falls area. She married Clarence Miller McPherson November 19, 1940 at Howard, Kansas. He preceded her in death April 3, 1971. She spent most of her adult life in Topeka, except for the ten years that she resided in Emporia. Survivors include her daughter Sandra K. Braunsdorf, two sons, Michael E. McPherson and Bruce M. McPherson, four sisters, Doris Myers, Lois Thompson and Virginia Wolfe all of Topeka, and Betty Parks of Parkville, MO and one brother Bill Evans. She also has five grandchildren Brian Braxton, Stuart Morrison, Matt McPherson, Mark McPherson, Scott McPherson and five great grandchildren, Allison and Michael McPherson, Christopher, Bailey and Cole Morrison. Mrs. McPherson will lie in state after 1:00 p.m. Saturday at the Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel, 1321 W. 10th Avenue, where the family will greet friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Saturday. He was a member of the Presbyterian Church, Phillipsburg, and was a World War II veteran. Harold was born August 22, 1927 northeast of Holton, KS to Knox Ralph McQueen and Lillie Ethel Wolfe McQueen. He attended school at Pleasant Grove and Prairie View Grade Schools and graduated from Soldier High School in 1945. He lived his entire life in Jackson County; the last 47 years in Delia. He was a Korean War Veteran, serving in the United States Army as an Honor Guard in General Headquarters at Tokyo, Japan. Harold was a rural mail carrier for the United States Postal Service for 24 years, carrying mail in the Delia community five years and in the Hoyt community for 18. In addition, he farmed and ranched, receiving the Kansas Bankers Association Soil Conservation Award and the Grassland Award for Outstanding Accomplishments in Management. Mr. McQueen was a member of the Delia Presbyterian Church serving on the Session numerous times. Harold was a 59 year member of the Kansas Masonic Lodge, Delia #419. Lie was secretary for many years. He was a member of the American Legion, Jimmie Lillard Post #31, Rossville. Over the years he served several times as Councilman or Mayor of Delia, Ks. He was a member of the Delia High School Board. He was also a School Board Member of USD #321, where he served as treasurer. He was a past member of the Delia Lions Club. He coached little league baseball and was a Boy Scout Leader. He married Eudora June Eakin on October 18, 1952 at the Circleville Christian Church. She survives at the home. She was a member of the United Methodist Church at Silver Lake. Her husband, Robert McRoberts, died in February, 1966. Survivors include four sons, Howard McRoberts, Silver Lake, Lee McRoberts, Manhattan, Albert McRoberts, 325 Harrison, Topeka, and George McRoberts, Palo Alto, Calif.; and two daughters, Mrs. Edna Wyatt, Carmichael, Calif., and Mrs. Ruth Beal, 929 Cambridge, Topeka.
